5amfinds Store Vintage 1965 Troll House Cave Case If you are a little girl, like me, growing up in the 1960s, chances are you or one of your best friends had one of these -- a cool cave for your family of trolls. I spent many many happy hours playing with this case -- well, one exactly like it that is safeguarded in my closet with trolls inside. I received mine for Christmas 1965, which makes this piece 45 years old. It was played with, but not abused. The pop up plastic roof and handle are still attached and have no cracks.The case is vinyl and reasonably clean. I have detailed it deeply.Just gave it a gentle wipe with a cloth. It has no stains or marks. There is a small crack in the corner where the bottom plastic with the front furniture is riveted to the vinyl drop front. There is a teenier crack on the other side. It looks great inside. No stains or notable damage.I've shown you a close-up of the interior. The site just takes meback in time to the fun of playing pretend. The clasp is firmly attached and works. It has a little corrosion from age, as does the metal on the handle. This is 45 years old. But overall it's in very good shape and displays great! No unpleasant odors.
